After being a part of the rat race in Southern California for 10 years I decided to move to Carmel and pursue my interest in art. After ten years of being a "starving artist" I met Joyce and deciding to settle down and raise a family. It was our good fortune to discover the Arkansas Ozarks. There we built and for twenty years  operated a trout lodge on the White river. It was a wonderful lifestyle allowing us to make many friends and share the beauty of the mountains with our daughter Cari. When she left to attend college we sold the lodge and retired in nearby Melbourne Arkansas, oddly the home we chose was being represented by the same agent that had sold us our 35 acres on the White river back in 1984.

In addition to being the principal broker at Sharp Realty, Dave has become a friend, golfing partner and when time permits we hit the rivers and lakes for some fly fishing. We both share a love of the arts and Dave is an accomplished songwriter and country music performer. Since Dave has retired Son Lamb has taken over the administrative duties at the office and always takes time to visit with anyone who stops by. Dave and I agree that retirement can be boring and he has invited me to become a Buyers Agent at Sharp Realty. Together we discuss the virtues of living in the Ozarks and the responsibilities that come with locating retirement properties and investment opportunities for our clients.
