Continued Education

At 66 years young I’d like to think I have acquired “ Wisdom through Experience”. Even so I readily agree we are never too old to learn and the Ozarks abound with opportunities for those seeking a higher degree of education. Whether it be few night classes at the local College, craft skills taught at the nearby Folk Center or a degree at the Arkansas State University at Mountain Home these institutes of higher learning are all within reach of the “Young at Heart”.

Our local institute for higher learning, Ozarka college offers many daytime and evening courses for citizens of the area. Tuition fees are reasonable and there are a number of curricula's available. For additional information visit their website at:

Having moved from Carmel California to the Ozarks and having a daughter with a developing talent in the arts we have found the Ozarks to leave nothing to be desired in pursuing our interests and continuing our education.
